How we work

How we work.

You're a business owner, not an employee — but businesses that win run on rhythm. This is the rhythm of the QC Life team: when we dial, what we track, and what "on pace" actually looks like.

Dial hours

8 AM to 8 PM, coast to coast.

Your dial window depends on where you are and which states you're licensed in — but the phones are alive from 8 AM Eastern to 8 PM Pacific. That's a 15-hour national window to work inside.

The window

8 AM – 8 PM in whatever time zone you're calling into. Follow the clock of the lead, not your own.

The recommendation

A full 8 hours a day — more if you want this to move fast. The producers at the top of the board are simply on the phone more.

Use your states

Licensed in multiple time zones? That's your edge. Start East, finish West, and you never run out of dial time.

Activity minimums

Know your numbers by lead type.

The volume changes depending on what you're working — but the finish line never does. Five presentations a day, every day.

Lead typeWhat it isDaily volumePresentationsExpected sales
Inbound Warmest — they raised their hand and are expecting a call. Speed to lead is everything. 5 calls 5 ~1
New Leads Fresh and unworked. Best contact rate of the outbound types — hit them fast and hit them often. 250 dials 5 ~1
Aged Leads Older and cheaper. Lower contact rate, so volume is the whole game — expect to dial twice as much for the same conversations. 500 dials 5 ~1

Five presentations

This is the real metric. Dials and calls are just how you get there — the presentation is where the sale actually lives.

One in five closes

Five presentations a day, one sale a day. That's the ratio we build around — and it's why the number is five, not three.

Volume follows the list

Working aged? You'll dial 500 to get the same five conversations a new-lead day gives you at 250. Same target, more reps.

Hitting five a day is how the standard takes care of itself. One sale a day compounds fast — run your own premium through the Comp Calculator to see exactly what that means for your month and your next contract level.
Your week

The weekly rhythm.

Four commitments. Keep these and the production takes care of itself.

Monday AM
Send Kayt your call & activity tracker
Every Monday morning, without being asked. This is how I coach you on real numbers instead of guesses — and how we catch a slow week before it becomes a slow month.
Tue & Thu
Brightside live training · 3:00 PM EST
Show up. This is where the craft gets built — and where you'll hear what's working right now, not last year.
Weekly
Your standing 1-on-1 with me
A recurring time that's yours. Bring your numbers, your hard calls, your objections — we'll work them together.

Daily
Dial your hours & log everything
If it isn't in the tracker, it didn't happen. Your tracker is the only honest scoreboard you have.
The standard

What "on pace" means.

$5,000
in AP — the Empower Life Group production expectation
This is Dana Nesen's standard for producers on the team. It's not a ceiling and it's not a punishment — it's the number that says you've built a real business. We build toward it together, and your 30/60/90 is designed to get you there.

Track it weekly

Your tracker rolls up to AP. Watch it the way you'd watch a bank balance.

Work backward

Know how many presentations and dials your own numbers require to hit $5K. That's your daily target.

Protect it

Written AP only counts if it stays on the books. Persistency and chargeback prevention matter as much as the sale.

The other side of it

What you can expect from me.

Expectations run both ways. If I'm asking you to be on the phone, track your numbers, and show up to training, here's what I owe you in return.

I will always respond

Before a call, after a call, or when you're stuck at 9 PM. You'll never wonder if I got your message.

Role-play any time

Objections, openers, closes — bring it and we'll run it live until it feels natural.

Real coaching on real numbers

I read your tracker. Our 1-on-1s are about what actually happened on your phone that week.

Run the roadmap first.

If you're brand new, everything above comes after setup. Work the Start Here checklist top to bottom.
